I am very new to this culture...how can I access podcasts? I understand that podcasts can be stremed live or downloaded for later listening...how does one do either of these things?

go to the market and download a podcatcher such as Listen or, I use, Mediafly. There are several others as well. Then open the app and select the podcasts you want to listen to. In Mediafly you can search by specific podcast or it will give you a list of popular podcasts broken down in channels such as science or politics or cars, etc. You can subscribe to certain podcasts either by your phone app or can sign in online and manage it there.

btw you can head over to the Eris forum on here for questions specific to the Eris. There is a wealth of info there.

Doggcatcher works well for me. Best out of the ones I tried.

MyPod works well and Google Listen. Try them all and pick the one that you like to use most.
