General droid eris on tmobile?

    I dont know jack about the eris but i do need to know if it can be used on tmobile either befor or after an unlock.

    also, does it support multi touch? what OS (i think 2.1)

    yes multitouch and i think you probably can, theres a sticky on using it with cricket. im sure you can modify it to work with t-mobile

    You will not be able to get the Eris to work on T-Mobile. T-Mobile uses GSM for its phones much like AT&T, which require SIM cards. The Eris is CDMA based, and as such has no SIM card slot or anything. An unlocked CDMA phone can only be used on carriers that use CDMA networks, (Verizon, Sprint etc..) likewise an unlocked GSM phone can only be used on carriers that use a GSM network (AT&T, T-Mobile).

    i hadnt thought about the cdma to gsm issue.
