Droid gone possessed

A few days ago, my dad's Droid went crazy. It kept touching different apps, texting people nonsense, and a bunch of other weird stuff. Whenever I tried to touch something, it ignored me. When I opened the keyboard, I could soft of control it with the arrow keys, but not for long. My dad then got the DroidX, but could U please help me cuz he said that I could keep it if I fixed it. This is what kind of phone it is:

Does control of the phone come back for a while when you reboot the phone? You might want to try a factory reset of the phone to see if something installed on it is causing it to be possessed by evil androids.

That or just start by deleting all apps if you can control it that long..
