Droid home screen launcher

Whats the best home launcher app out there that is free and offers themes and rotation recognition and widget support?...
I have Panda but it has lag time, I also have launcher pro but its plain with no themes...
Help

I use HelixLauncher...Seems to be the most stable for my MotoDroid. It can get slow at times (when memory is low) and will crash if you have too many running widgets for it to deal with.

Launcherpro is awesome. I ran helix for some time but I think launcherpro is way better.

there is home++, and it comes with a very nice display clock
but you cant set your own mini shortcuts on the bottom along side the menu bar
i'd say helix or launcher pro

LauncherPro, hands down! I was using Home++, then HelixLauncher, then Sweeter Home 2, then HelixLauncher again, then I tried ADW.Launcher, but have given up playing with any of the others because LauncherPro is (IMO) the absolute best.

i agree with everyone else. LauncherPro. It's snappy and fast. I also Like Launcher+.

It is called Weather & Toggle Widget. Here is a link to it on AppBrain: Weather & Toggle Widget - Android app on AppBrain

I have not used it as I am currently using Retro Clock Widget: Retro Clock Widget - Android app on AppBrain and like this one better. It is smaller (takes up less space on screen and on internal storage). It also is free as compared to $1.99 for the bigger widget.

Also, if you haven't done this already, I strongly suggest following these instructions: http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid/56324-appbrain-post-your-profile-link-here-droid.html and using AppBrain. It is by far the best way to search, browse, install, and uninstall apps.

One more question...How do you get that top bar to dissapear..I once saw how to run in full screen mode but I cant remember where I saw it...I just want to hide that bar..

Thanks again...now if I could just remember my dayum password to my gmail account I can use app brain..heck I cant even remember my favorite food question..I set it up in a hurry and I never use it..lol

If you set up an alternate email account, you can have a password reset email sent to the alternate account.
