Ok, so I had a nand backup. I FINALLY found the link to download clockwork manager, was trying to get superuser to work and discovered that I might be able to restore to my nand backup. It worked! You rock! Thank you so much for your help!!! I'm going to go find an unnoficial GB release. :) Loosing root really... STINKS.

So if I had s-off before the OTA, I should have retained it after? I thought it put it back s-on with the new bootloader?

When I boot it shows recovery, but loads nothing. It just freezes on a strange icon.

Yeah. You don't do anything in the stock recovery. If you want to regain root, it's done by loading some zips through hboot, namely for CWM and Superuser.

Ok, I snuck in a post at the same time you posted. Made a guide for the procedure if you're interested. If not that's cool, somebody else out there may need it.

I have read through many forum posts and was stuck last night getting root access. Then something I did today allowed me to use the Unrevoked to set this, but was unable to get S-OFF. I am stuck with S-ON, and am not able to get past this. The other thread referenced does not allow me to get all the way through and flash the recovery ( I assume due to S-ON).

Any other suggestions for gaining S-OFF with the latest VZW phone. It was replaced due to some issues a few weeks ago and I just started to get into the Android OS's flashing.

The soff.log has the message about the wrong radio version. The current radio is 2.15.10.07.07

Thanks for all the info so far.

This is the only way to gain s-off on a phone that is currently running the radio you have.
