Droid mini, XP 32 bit MTP will not install

I just bought a Motorola droid mini from Verizon and when I connect the USB cable to my PC (windows XP 32 bit service pack 3) the motorola device manager installed properly but the MTP device did not. the found new hardware wizard says "cannot install this hardware, There was a problem installing this device, Motorola MTP device, an error occurred during the installation of this device, the required section was not found in the INF.


Please help

You have to have the correct drivers for your device to connect properly. Scroll down a little bit in this link and you will find a download for the driver. Hope this helps!

I tried that but that link did not pertain to the MTP issue that I am having it just gave me the option of repairing or uninstalling the motorola device manager. I cant get the MTP to install.
