Nothing special, just started a little blog posting a new picture taken from the Droid every day. Could be a fun project to look back on a year from now and see where I've been and what I've done over the last year. The beauty of it is, it's all done from the Droid. Posterous has a cool posting method where you just email them the content and they format the blog post for you. So all I have to do is take the picture, share it via email, add a little text and send it off and in a few minutes it's live on the site. Pretty cool how convenient things have gotten these days. Anyways, feel free to check it out. Droid Photo - One photo a day - all taken from my Droid
I'm a Packers fan, I also hope the Skins will end the Giant's season tonight! On a droid related note, I think your droid takes very nice pictures. I can't seem to get mine to come out that crisp and colorful. Anything special you're doing, or settings you have? Great idea on the photo blog!
Cool idea. I look forward to seeing your pics. Oh and the redskins are getting killed. Go PACK! Screw the Steelers!
That's pretty cool. I just set up an account and was wondering, if you want to add photo's to the same post, do you just use the same name in the subject of the email? I set this up from my phone so I haven't had a chance to look at it on my pc.
I think I might make my own, just for kicks. I've barely used the camera on my phone and I feel like I'm wasting it.
I'm really taken with digital cameras. My previous toy, now neglected since I got the Droid, is a Canon TX-1 7MP camera. It's a bit of an odd-ball. But I have it loaded with CHDK firmware, which basically unlocks the camera & gives me the ability to control everything (...everything!). I feel like the camera hardware in the Droid is not being exploited to it's fullest potential with the current software. At 5MP, it should take much better pictures. In good enough light, it does fairly well. I hope to see the Droid camera made much better through software, but for now, it's a great idea to have folks post up pictures to show that, with a little patience, it can do very well.
