Help Droid R2D2 Problem

ok so i live in williamsport pa and im on vaction in Washington dc but when i hit maryland my r2d2 went into roaming and hasnt left it yet butt my wifes droid has yet to lose 3g is my phone broken? or is it some setting i need to enable so it works? thanks for your help

Have you done a *228 Update? Do that, updating option 1 and option 2. It will put you on the most recent towers that are available.

If that doesn't work, go to Settings -> Wireless and Networks -> Mobile Networks -> System Select -> Home Only. There's a possibility you just picked up a roaming tower and haven't pulled off of it for some reason or another.

yea that got rid of the roaming at least still no 3g tho :/ which i find wired sence im in washington dc
