I've had this phone for about 5 or 6 months with no real problems other than it being a bit sluggish at times. Recently however, the phone will all of a sudden drop signal (The bars are replaced with a red circle and at the bottom of the lock screen it reads "no service.") and then power cycle every few minutes until it decides that it will reconnect to service. This has been happening for a few days now. I noticed today that it only happened after I either missed a call or received one, but not after I made a call. I have no idea what the issue may be, is this just a sign that it's dying?

I have a similar problem. My phone is incapable of keeping a data signal.

Try removing and reinstalling the sim card while powered off

You may have a bad SIM card.

Yup! Had the same issue, new SIM card (free at Verizon store) fixed it.
