I read this too. It's pretty interesting. Now if they made a durable glass screen with anti smudge. They can call it King Kong glass. haha I don't know

After reading this and watching some scratch test videos on youtube I decided to pull off my screen protector. Feels so much better now. Like using a condom vs not using one.

never heard about this kind of thing till today.
It seems like so many tech companies are using this stuff for its strength and durability. are you sure apple doesn't to? It seems almost like and industry standard based on the other companies that have been listed as using it.

As much as I like the feel of the uncovered screen it will remain covered (for now, the standard Verizon protectors). I know if there is a way to scratch the screen, with my luck, I will find it.

i spent the money on the zaggs (?) screen protector. with 3 kids who LOVE my droid as much as me, including a 19 month old baby girl, the protector is staying on!! like someone mentioned above referencing condoms, this is like double bagging it when your in the phillipines....

I got a new droid a week or two back and that was the last screen protector I had. So my current Droid is naked. I have read a few threads and saw a few videos of people scratching their screen with keys. I stick my phone in my pocket with my keys (which I am usually very careful about) and it scratches the first time....I am not blaming this on the droid by any means. I just want it to be known that it can be done...and quite easily might I add.

I wonder if this is on the newer revised DROID or the current one we have

Only reason i'm keeping my screen protector on is i don't see any of the smudges from my fingers at all with it on. When it's off it's annoying and so apparent but with it on i don't see it at all.
