Hello everybody! I am new here. Nice to meet you all. I was hoping I could ask for some help on my new device. I just bought the Droid Ultra last week and I love it. I made the switch from the iPhone 4s, I held that phone for two years but wanted something more powerful and fun. This phone has been amazing so far and fun. The battery is great and I love how thin it is, not to mention the 720p. Talk about depth in color! I am a huge music fan and used my iPhone as an mp3 player as well. I uploaded my library to Music Play with no problem. It was a simple as can be. I then plugged in my Sol Republic Headphones and turned the volume on the lowest setting, just one step above mute. I always leave my music on the lowest setting. I instantly noticed that it was relatively loud. I quickly pressed the volume rocker down an it muted it. (This issue also applies to anything I listen to via headphones.) I noticed that I had less control over my volume controls than with my iPhone. The iPhone and any other mp3 player I had always gave me plenty of steps between low and loud so I could find my precise preference. This is very awkward that I can't do that with Android. It goes mute, step 1 loud, then so on an so on. I have no way to get the volume to where I want it to be. I researched online and it seems like a lot of users have experienced this issue since 2010. I am not getting much help on how to fix this. It seems like people have tried many apps but they don't work. Any help would be appreciated. I am hoping my phone isn't defective. Everything else works great but I need better volume control. I am currently running Jelly Bean 4.2.2. Not sure when I will get KitKat. Thanks again.
