Droid Update and home replacements

So I've heard that people say that the Droid feels "Snappier" when navigating the home screen and such. I use Dxtop and was wondering if that same benefit will be noticed on there or will I have to return back to the default home to get the speed boost?

Speed boost is speed boost, they improved some code so the phone would be quicker in general. That's what makes the home screen faster, everything should seem faster now.
