In anopther thread I read the the Droid X is going to be going to a Canadian carrier making it unlockable for AT&T ? Or is there a chance that AT&T will get these phones?

No chance. These phones are built for CDMA networks. Won't work on ATT as they are GSM as well as most other carriers around the world.

Well if they were going to Canada they would be GSM variants, but I haven't heard of them making a "Milestone X" or "Milestone 2" but I'm sure they are in the works.

Actually Bell, Telus (& variants) uses CDMA in Canada, but Rogers, FIDO, & Variants use GSM including BB.

Bell and Telus uses CDMA for 2G but for 3G (or '4G'), they use HSPA+
