Root droid x bootstrapper fails to reboot recovery

    hey guys it's my first try at loading a custom rom onto my rooted droid x. i'm trying to make a backup first, but whenever i select reboot recovery the phone goes black for a couple sends then the motorola logo comes on and normal boot cycle commences. what am i not doing right here??

    click the top button in the app first (and wait for it to respond it may take up to 5 sec) before clicking the bottom button the first time using it.

    didnt think that worked lol, i was having a different issue all together that required me to reinstall apex and wipe data and cache for me to get mine to work :p

    Yeah after clearing data on an install you always have to hit bootstrap recovery fiirst to get it to recognize

    o this was when i had the apex 1.4 rc2 and then installed apex 1.4 didnt wipe data and cache since its going from apex to apex lol, but i learned i needed to haha

    Lol its a habit for me to hit both every time I go into cwr ....might as well it doesn't hurt to do so

    this is true, i used to hit it whenever i went to rom manager
