Is there any way to change the the Messaging theme for Gingerbread from the blue and gray boxes to other colors or boxes like Iphone?

GO SMS PRO is also very customizable with all sorts of theme options. I recently switched to it from Handcent SMS and am liking it so far.

Love Handcent! VERY customizable! You can even set up different customizations for individual threads (contacts). It's been my messaging app since the Droid Eris.
