Droid X multi-touch keyboard

    Grabbed it from right here, courtesy of Daneshm90.

    Download link: repackaged-signed.apk

    You shouldn't need root for it. Just download, install, and enable in Settings -> Keyboard. :) And yes, it's really a multi-touch keyboard.

    Well, I have, obviously. :p Doesn't look the prettiest; similar to the unskinned HTC IME. You can peck two keys at once and it'll acknowledge both. The auto-correct is quite forgiving.

    Haven't typed extensively with it, since I have Swype and that's still faster, but people have been clamoring for a multi-touch keyboard forever. I imagine someone used to it could belt out long e-mails pretty fast.

    It didn't work I get an error process.com/androidinputmethod/latin something like that. How did you get it to work?

    Hmm. Weird, I just installed it as I would any other app. Mind you, I'm rooted and running CyanogenMOD 5.07, but the keyboard doesn't require root permissions so I've no idea. :/

    Works fine for me. DLed it installed, settings keyboard, done... works.

    2.1 stock Nexus one...

    Ah, yeah. It's not Froyo-compatible.
