Hey guys, another one just popped out :
Motorola DROID X review Boy Genius Report
Motorola also confirmed to us — via email — that The X uses the same Gorilla Glass as the original DROID.
"This phone is solid, like really solid."
"The DROID X feels like a high-end, well-built piece of electronics that is made to last."
"The display really is great. 4.3-inches of WVGA multitouch, haptic goodness with a 480 x 854 resolution. Who wouldn
Geez man. Has there been a single negative review yet? This phone seems to get right everything the incredible got wrong. Solid build construction, good signal, battery life, 720p
Agreed. Those are precisely the reasons I had to trade mine in.
Um I would say that all the reviews unaminously bash the camera quality. Besides that they are positive.

Great.... now still 2 weeks of waiting
Yep this is going to be a long two weeks.
That's what she said.
You know you guys who are switching to crappier phones until the X is released will actually be more thrilled on release day when you get it since your coming from such a POS phone.
I think a lot of the reviewers are saying the quality is relatively good, but they were just hoping for more. There are a LOT of tech sites that are nice and comfy living up Apple's @$$ (Engadget, Gizmodo, BGR), so a lot of them are also comparing to the iPhone4 and saying that the iPhone's camera performs better. I have a sneaking suspicion that they may not be so sure which pics were better if they came up with a double blind testing method.
Given BGR's bias, I was surprised at how positive their review of the Droid X was. While it was still quite clear that they tried to find absolutely anything they could say that may upset potential buyers, they still gave it a relatively good review. This is pretty impressive given that asking BGR to review an Android device is like asking Steve Jobs's overprotective stalker (who may or may not wear assless chaps) to review the phone. Get my drift?
Seriously? Have you not seen one review that praised the camera quality? lol
Yeah, hopefully the Droid X will live up to this reputation. I cancelled my order for the Incredible based on the early reviews for the DX. I just did not see the point in waiting a month for the DInc and wind up with a phone with poor phone reception and short battery life.
