Support DROID X showing wrong date

    so today i was looking at my buddies DROID X and it was showing the wrong date and time, just thought it was funny.

    is his DX rooted? When I first deleted my blur alarm clock and timer my clock was like that until a rebooted the phone.

    Under setting Date & Time is the Automatic checked? If not you can put in whatever date and time you want.

    I'd put this in support, but then again, I'd move it to the lounge. Eh, f'get it. I'll leave it here. I'm getting sloppy in my old age. ;)

    I'd say maybe that phone belongs to the Chaplin movie clip time traveler, but the date is 41 years too late. Oh well, I'll go ahead and say it. After all, she is a time traveler.

    I just saw this happen on my phone. It was in airplane mode with auto time turned on. as soon as i turned airplane mode off it was back to normal. was the exact same date.

    I had the same thing happen, but with a text message. The Verizon rep did a factory rest and cleared it all up.
