Help Droid X Unlocking question

Just got a Droid X...not super happy about having to hit the physical unlock button on the top of the phone, I want to tap the interface and have the screen or something come up to have me unlock it.....is there a way to set this up???

the Home key on the front of the phone works as well...

It didn't work like that at first, but then I rebooted Home key works now, thanks!!

Widget Locker is an app that allows you to customize your lock screen. One of the toggles is whether or not other buttons can wake it up (like the volume keys)

fwiw, if you had the capability to tap the screen to turn it on, it would be on the entire time it was in your pocket, which would kill your battery

a physical button to wake it up is really the only way to go
