Hi, I have a Droid X, System Version- 2.3.340, Android Version- 2.2.1, Kernel Version- 2.6.32.9.

    G-Mail will sync.

Exchange Inbox and other folders will not sync automatically or when refreshed. I have tried this with 2 different Exchange accounts. I saw the sent folder updated, but no other folders had updated e-mails. I was able to send e-mails, but could not receive messages. I made sure Exchange credentials were changed and updated on the phone. I also ensured the system is up to date.

    The phone hasn't synced since 2/22 at 9:00 a.m.

    Any ideas/fixes?

    Thank you.

Are you using handscent? I installed the update for handscent yesterday and it was screwing up everything for me. mail wouldn't update. I'd lose my internet connection. fortunately I was able to restore the old version using titanium backup and I'm running fine again. If you don't have titanium, you might just uninstall handscent and see if that fixes you.

No, not using handscent. I've done a hard reset, so this is a fresh configuration.

Is your email set to "push" or "check every x minutes"?

If one doesn't work, try the other.

Do we know what version of Exchange? We have Exchange 2007 and I have no problems syncing email or folders with stock rom or any other rom I've tried. Often AOSP roms use a different email app tho. Many roms like Apex let you use the blur email or the aosp email app.

It's exchange 2003. This is the only user having an issue. We have other droid models/OSs that sync fine.

Have the user open the android power widget and make sure sync is not turned off on it. For some reason if it is turned off with the widget it has to be turned back on with the widget or you will get all sorts of weird sync issues.
