Is there a place online where i can get/download the "droiiiiiiiiiiiid" sound? I'll be getting the evo4g, and even though it isn't THE droid, it's still android and i'd love to have it on my phone for txt notifications or something. Or is it even possible to get it from someone elses Droid phone over the bluetooth connection?

    Any help would be appreciated!

D/L the app "Zedge" for ringtones/wallpapers.

They have several different "drooooid" sound clips

I'm pretty sure the Mabilo Ringtones app has a few to select from too. If you want a complete original, then on the Droid the tone is in /system/media/audio/notifications/droid.ogg. From there you can copy/send it to another phone via BT or whatever other method you prefer.

niiiiiiiiiiice. i might take this route once i get my evo4g. seems much more simpler than downloading a ringtone app just for 1 ringtone. many thanks!

I used zedge to find several of my ringtones.

My other ones I used frostwire to download them to my laptop, then transferred the mp3 to my phone, then used ringdroid.
