I dropped my Galaxy in water for not even three seconds, I picked it back up and it was working fine. After a few seconds my phone shut off, I took off my phone case, back of the phone, and removed the battery. I cleaned up the visible water, and it's now in a bag of rice..
This has never happened to me before, and I've checked on my phone a few times. The first two times, my phone boots up and shuts back down. The other time I turned it on and it was working for a few minutes but shut down again.
I'm freaking out, and i was wondering if it will even work after this?

Water droplets are inside the unit, on the circuit boards, between components, creating conductivity where there shouldn't be any.

Drying it out with a hairdryer (on low heat setting) often helps.
