    Hi guys,

My TF keeps dropping the network when if falls asleep. Once it wakes up, I have to turn off the network and then turn it back on to connect. It just says it is searching until I do they previous steps. Any help you can give me is appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Sam

I have the same problem oddly only at home... If you have the keyboard dock just hit the wifi button on the keyboard and hopefully it wlll get it to reconnect "faster".

I'm also having issues with my wifi, only at night though. My FT disconnects from the wifi and becomes stuck in a state of "Turning Off..." the wifi. I can't get it working until I complete shut down the FT and restart. I do not own dock, and this seems to only happen at night regardless of the down time, if it's 2 hours or 12 hours. It may also be linked to being plugged it? Anyone find a way to fix this?

There is a setting for wifi to "sleep" after 15 minutes as mentioned above. Make sure that is set to "always on" or whatever. It still should wake up when you wake the device up though even with that set to sleep.

If it's aways on then won't it be draining the battery faster... ?

Only settings I saw was "when screen turns off", "Never when plugged in" (what I have it on), and "never".

then choose never. And yes it would drain the battery more if left on. it depends on if you want the tablet to have a connection to the world while the screen is off
