I just got a Galaxy S2, which also happens to be my first smartphone. I love it, but I'm still bothered by how dull the screen looks because of the screen cover that the salesman put on it. The S2's big selling point is the Super AMOLED Plus, but I feel like even iPhone 3's that I see on the subway have better displays than my covered up S2!

I remember seeing my friend's Galaxy S and being blown away by how crisp the screen was. But my Galaxy S2 doesn't even come close to that right now.

Are there any screen covers that won't dull the display? I hear good things about InvisibleShield. Does that provide protection and clear display?

I've got a ZAGG Invisible Shield on mine. The colours look good (showed mine to a mate today and he was impressed with the screen) and it's apparently impossible to scratch.

Take the screen protector off and don't replace it - simples.

Screen protectors suck. The Invisible Shield may protect the phone well but it leaves the screen feeling slightly sticky and looking like orange peel.

    Agreed.

Throw the screen protector away and find yourself a nice leather flip case.
That will protect the screen when not in use and when it is in use you won't be using a set of keys or a nail on the screen will you? :D

Every screen protector I have tried made the screen look much worse, unfortunately. I take my chances naked.

A screen protector I have always used is the SGP Steinheil Ultra Oleophobic.
I had it on my iPhone 4 and the display still looked great with no dimming of the screen like normal anti fingerprint protectors.
It's out in the US now, but I can't find it anywhere in The UK.
I'm using the standard one which came with Casemate Barely There until SGP hits The UK.

I would give Brando Ultraclears a shot, my screen seems a little bit more reflective, but it is very clear.
