I am a total ****. I just accidentally did a factory reset. Don't ask me how. I'm hoping someone can say they've done something as dumb.

Ummm, on the plus side, you're phones as smooth as it was when you originally bought it :-\

As long as you keep things backed up, why is this a problem?

yes, it will take time to get things back to normal BUT it doesn't hurt to do it.

For the most part, it was backed up. I lost some stuff I did in Tasker last night, and had to manually re-add my widgets to Launcher Pro. Still... was an hours work for an oopsie.

I figured since you posted this you weren't rooted or backed up. An hour or so isn't bad. It's like loading a new ROM.

Except I'm not rooted. When I say "backup", I just mean a few of my programs have a way to backup the settings. I occasionally save data on internal storage.

I am guessing I need to search up how to backup better. At some point I'll root, and I reckon I'll need to know how.

Its an hours work the first time. I have done many factory resets due to changing roms constantly. It only takes like 15 minutes to a half an hour once you have done it a bunch of times.
