Hello, I have had my Eris for about three weeks now and noticed three dead pixels at the top where the signal is meter is. They are pretty much hidden all the time unless the phone is on a black screen. I've also noticed a few dust particles sitting in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Anyone else getting dead pixels or dust under their screen? Small issues, but irritating knowing they're there.

Will Verizon swap it out for a new handset? When i first upgraded I got the Motorola droid, but returned it for the eris. Will that be an issue if they swap out the phone, as I've already exchanged it once? Thanks for you help!

dust i don't think so. but the dead pixels is a standard display problem. but i think it has to meet a certain percetage of dead pixels before you can exchange unless the rep doesn't know that part.

swapping shouldn't be an issue for you... i got the eris then swapped it for the bb tour and then went back to the eris ... so they will at least give you one more eris. ad i have also noticed a dead pixel at the top but so far i have just tried to ignore it

i thought u could only exchange once in the 30-day period?

how did u go from eris >> bb tour >> eris?

if i could go from eris >> droid >> maybe back to eris it would make my decision on what to get a lot easier

Wow, I haven't heard...I know my storms had LOTS of dust issues...but Eris has a very tight space around screen... Weird

    Hopefully I don't get any. :)

Are you kidding?! There is a gap around the screen wide enough to fly a helicopter through. I keep an extra pair of socks in there. It's the first place I check when I forget where I parked my car.

Hyperbole is a trillion times better than any other type of humor. Get it?

Yes, that was the joke. ;) I'm gratified at least someone got it. But I fear we've digressed. Matt
