e-Buddy freezing the phone

At first I thought it was a battery problem but just recently I booted up fine. The phone was working great as usual, but I loaded up e-Buddy and went into landscape view by pulling out the keyboard, my phone locks up.

I had to do a battery pull, and now when I try to turn on the phone, it just shows a black lite-up screen. This exact thing happened not 2 days ago when my battery was very low, but this time my battery was fully charged.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Also, the phone won't 'turn on' now...

according to e-buddy website the droid is not supported. Sounds like a hard reset is in order.
