Lurker
I just rooted my Sprint HTC Hero via instructions from theunlockr.com and everything seemed fine until I powered on my phone while holding down the home key.
At first I got a graphic of a sign with an orange exclamation point. I tried home and power again and it took me to the Andoid system recovery utility and gave me three options
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
Then at the bottom of the screen in yellow it says "E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command
If i reboot the phone, it seems to work fine and I still have root access.
Does anybody know if this is something that needs to be fixed.
Sorry if this has been answered before, but I did try searching the forums before posting.
Any advice would be appreciated.
