Early upgrade

    So I'm not eligible for an upgrade until Dec 1st.

    Anyone here with experience on getting an early upgrade that could give some advice?

    its 19 days but its killing me!

    I've heard that if you send Verizon an email, they can move it up for you.

    You can also call, but people seem to have better luck via email.

    Call customer care and tell them you are currently having issus with your phone. Ask them if they can move up your upgrade a few weeks. It worked for me as I was 17 days out and I have my Droid now. Hope this helps!

    i tried like crazy to get an early upgrade. i was on my 3rd voyager and when i got my last one i had only 1 month till my upgrade and they still would not let me upgrade early. i tried 3 stores and even called and no go. i didn't try email though. good luck cause i had none.

    was easier than I thought.

    Droid is getting shipped. should be here Friday.

    Now if I can just wait until then.... I was hoping to pick it up at the store.

    What makes it difficult is from where I work I can see the verizon store with people buying new droids every day. DAMN THEM!

    patience is a virtue. esp since the dust hasn't settled with droid quality issues. plus if you wait, you can buy the droid within 30 days of the Passion's release.

    Can someone tell me who to email and what to say in the email? I am upgrading using another line on my account, then having it switched to my phone. No biggie. but my brother wants to upgrade as well. His comes on Dec. 8. His camera no longer works on his phone, and I have tried twice to get his date moved up via VZ Phone CS. Any help would be appreciated!
