ROOT IS REQUIRED!!! Annnnnnnd your adb files need to be at "C:\android\platform-tools" for this to work.

This is a simple build.prop editor I made a few weeks back out of boredom. You can back up your build.prop, edit yours by clicking the desired button, restore from a backup, all that jazz. Hover your mouse over it to see what it does, and right click it to see a pop up window with the exact code of the edit.

Thanks to salvy512 for the list he made, and james391 for the idea. If you guys have any good ones you know of, throw them at me and I'll add them in.

As always, this is a root change, so there's a chance of it messing your phone up(highly unlikely, this is a simple tweak), so if you damage your phone don't sue me. I won't be havin it!

EDIT: Oh, and wait until the progress bar gets done until you click on the next button. It takes less than a second, so please be patient and let it do it's thing in a SECURE MANNER. Thank you :)

Here's the link. It runs from anywhere, and it puts the backup in "C:\android\platform-tools\build-prop-backup"- https://www.box.com/s/1e63c95b95cca7da5cf6

Does this only work with the elite or can I use it on any phone?

I hadn't thought about it,but I suppose you could use it with any phone. Yeah, that would work.

So I did use this to tweek a ZTE Score and I don't know how sizable the improvement was or not(it's not my phone so I'm not as able to compare before and after) but it defiantly didn't hurt anything. Thanks for the toy!

Hashtag, it seems as though aside from changing the heapsize, any edits made to my build.prop, unless made explicitly via text editor, seem to revert back to stock the moment my device reboots. Any ideas as to why this is?
Also, on that note, would you mind posting all of the build.prop tweaks in text format in a post, so that I could copy and paste them over via text editor to make them permanent additions (or is this a bad idea)?

Alright guys, I'm not sure what happened to Hashtag or if you are referring to the build prop edit that I used from Hashtag, but anyhow I pulled this directly from Hashtags post and copy and pasted it here. Same build.prop edits I'm using.

Are those the tweaks applied for all of the buttons in Hastag's program? I thought all of those net.tcp.buffersize.x tweaks were all signal/radio related, like 3G and wifi speeds?

Either way, thanks a ton, man!

Yeah, these are all related to data buffer speeds...sorry man wasn't sure what you were looking for.....I'd also like to have what your talking about.

But I was looking for those too, actually. So, like I said, thank you :D

Sorry, I forgot about this thread :/ but these edits are straight from ktb's build.prop list he made awhile back.
