I was heading in to check if my EVRC-B was still enabled after the update and stumbled upon this by accident...

    Dial ##7764726
    Hit Call
    Type Password is 000000
    Hit Feature Settings
    Choose CD ROM
    Click Disable
Hit menu, commit modifications (it will say no item changed)
    Back out to home

Voila. I havent seen the windows prompt since.
    :D

Of course we are ;) After loading the 2.2 leak when connecting to a PC using "disk drive" mode you get this super delayed annoying Verizon pop up that prompts you to install drivers for the Verizon Media Manager, instead of the normal new drive detected pop up.

does this include ROMs based on the leak or just the actual leak itself? I'm assuming it's just the leak and doesn't apply to the cyanogenmod ROM or the skyraider ROM?

I have flashed every Rom I can get my hands on and the only time I have ever seen it was in the most recent leak. Most ,if not all ,chefs have removed or disabled it in their Roms. So you won't be seeing It In SR or CM.

Thanks! I too had close call confirm and I couldnt figure out how to type the password in. You had to close the pop pup box with the X.

Awesome! I hated that popup more than the bloatware that was installed.
