Hi, I'm new to this forum and I have problem I hope someone can help me with. I have an HTC Hero with Android 2.1. When I first downloaded EasyTether it would let me log into everything on my laptop, but now it won't. I can still log into the internet and surf the web but it won't let me log into Yahoo Messenger anymore or any web based programs such as Microsoft Money. I have the free version. Do I need to upgrade to the paid version.

I've heard that easy tether isn't as stable as Wireless Tether for Root Users - Android app on AppBrain (wireless tether). It will work if you're root. I have this one... never had a problem with it.
