Email account

I set up my hotmail account as my email client on my HTC evo. How do I delete this account because I'd would rather use Gmail.

There are two separate email apps that come loaded with the EVO. Which app did you use? Gmail app or the HTC app?

I am also trying to figure out how to UnSync an email. Yahoo has too much spam...

Mail > Menu > More > Settings > "Delete account"

Unless the email account is the first account entered on the phone..that is called the administrator email and can not be deleted or changed without a full reset...unless anyone knows a trick???
