Hello there. I am new to smart phones. I can barely text and I let my husband talk me into this smart phone...the technology is wayyyy over my head! So this may be a dumb question...every time I get an email, I get two notifications. One for "gmail" and one for "email". So I have to go to both shortcuts every time I get an email. is there a way to fix this so I only get one notification? Thanks for your assistance.

Go into the program that you don't normally use. hit the menu button, then settings, and look for notifications. Turn off the notifications.
