Hi - this is probably a stupid question and must have something to do with the way I have configured my Googlemail account, but I get a lot of duplication in my Notifications:

I get a new mail notification (with an envelope icon) - it might say "4 unread mails" and I also get a New Email notification with an @ icon saying "New email" - 4 unread conversations.

    It is driving me batty.

Is there a way I can supress one of these notifications? The only thing I can remember doing is setting up an IMAP account so that I could use the HTC Widget - I'm guessing this might be the cause?

Any suggestions gratefully received and I will buy you a pint.

If you have HTC Mail and Google Mail set up for notifications go into the App you dont want and disable notifications menu>settings

OK - thanks, will try that. I didn't realise there were 2 different email applications running. Doh...
