Email from Verizon about upgrade

Is this a common thing? I am on leak v3. The email said there is an update available for my phone with out any details explaining where to get it. Just wondering if you guys got the dame email.

Yep...just looked down and I have the email as well. Looked in system updates and did a checkin...nothing as of yet.

Edit: Read the email more closely. It is supposed to be sent to you automatically. If it's gonna work for us who leaked, then it will say system update in the notification bar.

This is probably a message to those who have not updated when the upgrade is sent out. Of course, we know we aren't updating because the version checker thinks we are already running 2.1 official. Maybe it will confuse the mainframe into sparks and a fire.

Just a " form " email...i was excited for a moment....leaks are not receiving the offical update...im on leak 2 and going to update to leak 3 and be done with it

The only email I have received from Verizon today is the notication that my replacement is on it's way! It will arrive Thursday

Funny, I just got this email after doing a factory data reset. I was in the process of copying the v3 leak over to my SD card.

Crazy coincidence.

Yes, I received the email as well. It appears to be a stock email that they are sending out at the end, or towards the end, of the rollout. However, I have V3 leak and after doing the *#*#checkin#*#* I did not receive any pushed update. Not sure if we will get it then. My wife is on stock 1.5, so I will know when I get home.

Yep, got the email to. So I guess I will just wait for a 2.1 final root huh? My wife should be getting the OTA, so at least I can compare between that and my 2.1v3.

I got the e-mail for The Wife's phone, which I upgraded OTA. Nothing on mine, yet, which is leaked

I received the email as well. With all of the problems reported with the official OTA I hope it skips me and lets me keep my v3 leak. lol

Leakers will not get the update. As for waiting on ROOT for the leak versions...who knows? I'm not betting on it, though.

That's it then. Phone is taking a VERY VERY large fall and needing replacement. Thanks verizon/HTC. Wont install another leak again.

I got the email too. It Says the update was already sent to my phone. No signs of the oTA, im on V3 leak and I am happy with it I would rather not get the OTA.
