Help Email Notifications

I have the Motorola Droid Razr. At work we have exchange 2007. My phone is connected to the exchane server. The syncing is perfect but I would like to turn off email notifications and only receive email notifications when I receive emails from specific people. The Blackberry has that feature and I really miss it.

I don't think Razr or Android has that option can only set up email account and will get any email that enters you email inbox.
Maybe in your email client you can set it to only put named addresses in the inbox and to send all others to your spam box. But you will need to check your spam folder often for emails that are not spam but not on your allow list.
