My girlfriend has just got an ARC. In the emails we cannot get the pictures to show... you have to press the "show pictures" button. Is there anyway to set it to automatically show pictures without doing this on everysingle email?

    Thanks in advance.

(Great phone by the way - this is how the X10 should have preformed!)

The updated Gmail app that went out a week or so ago now has an 'always allow' option that comes up after you load the images in any single email.

Thanks but it is not a gmail account it is Tiscali so that solution won't work.

    Anyone else got any ideas?

For anyone interested, Ihave found a solution this problem... The application "maildroid" works and is much easier to read.

(very quiet forum for the Arc, is this due to lack of faults on it or lack of sales???)

Apparently it hasn't sold that well due to stock supply problems (Japanese earthquake) which is a shame - it's a great phone.
