Email via Cell network and wifi?

OK, I searched for a solution but can't find. In fact there may be no solution.

Setting up email on my s3. Using the email app i can receive email via wifi or cell network but can only send from one depending on how i configure the SMTP server.

I have internet service from Rogers, and Cell service from Bell Mobility. Using the Bell mail.1xbell.ca SMTP server I can sent but only if wifi is turned off. Using the Rogers SMTP internet server I can send when i have wifi but not over cell network.

I know why this happens. Rogers blocks anything to SMTP servers other than theirs.

Has anyone found a solution for this, other than using gmail for all mail?

OK, I figured out what to do. Manual set up and used IMAP instead of POP.

Sorry, IMAP seemed to work, but today it didn't work over cell network. not sure why.

Did you make sure that the Mobile internet was working on your device?

Otherwise you could always call up Rogers and see if their is a proper way to set it up
