I have recently updated to version 4.1.2 on my Galaxy S3. Under this version, how can I email the full size file of a photo in the gallery? If I am in Gallery, there doesn't seem to be a link for email - and if I go to email app, create an email and add the picture file to it, it sends a small (thumbnail) version.

I am sending over wifi so file size is not a problem for me. How do I force it to send the larger file?

When you use the email app, it just shows you a thumbnail, but it actually does send the full file.

There should be a share function within the gallery which will give you a choice of methods to share. One will be email. You might need to press menu or touch the image to bring up share though.

Thanks for the reply, but that is not what is happening. I have tried several times to email photos to another account I own, and all I receive is a pic reduced to 500px wide, instead of the 3264 that the camera is set to.

There is a a share function. But when I select it, the only share methods offered to me are Bluetooth, Bump and Dropbox. Thee is no option to share via email or MMS.

When the share box is open, there is no Menu available so I can't even add other options to it.

    Very frustrating.

That's pretty odd. What email app are you using and what email server? (Gmail, hotmail, etc).
