you should just get a spare battery
  3. Yep, you can get spare batteries on ebay for less than 5 bucks.

OEM HTC batteries? Ive seen them as low as 10 used, and about 15 new. I have a few off brand batteries from my Hero that work in a pinch but they dont last quite as long. Id pick up a few OEM batteries to replace them if I could find some for $5.
  5. Well the 5 dollar non-oem batteries will give you more juice than that emergency charger. I was reading one of the threads about ebay batteries, and most people are saying they are as good, if not better, than the oem battery.

Just speaking from experience the two off brand batteries I have didnt last as long in my HERO. They are by no means garbage though. They just might be at 20% at the end of my day instead of 30-40%. I know a lot depends on usage, and my tests arent science but I could see the pattern.

I agree with you though they are still a great option, and much better than the emergency charger. They will still get me through a full day which is all that I would need.

those spare batteries and battery charger are perfect....you can have one battery on you while one is in your phone and the other is charging

I wouldn't mind an emergency charger. Well, for me it would be a mobile charger. I have a spare battery, but I dont think the clips on my case will last that long if I continue changing the battery every day.

I've used the Solio as an emergency charger. That took about 3 minutes for every 1 percentage point so I returned it. Sprint has a portable charger for almost 40% less the cost of the Solio. The only difference: no solar charging.

you could alwayz get a new back for it either from sprint or ebay....sprint might give uu one for free if they have any and yours is broke
