Empty battery with exclamation mark

Hi All,

I installed a CM10 mod today to my Micromax funbook P300 tablet. Now, the tablet is not switching on and a battery with an exclamation symbol is appearing on the screen. I am not sure if i have bricked my tablet. Any help on rectifying this would be really helpful.

I had used the Cyanbook_JB_4.2.2_Beta_2 mod.
I also tried using Livesuit but to no avail

i would try charging it for a bit and see what happens

that sounds like what some devices do with a dead battery or one which has shorted internally. if it is a cheap Chinese model, it's quite possible the non-removable battery has kicked the bucket

I'm betting though that it has simply run down and is unable to power on because the charge is too low. that screen could be included in CM10 too. i'm guessing since you're on a CyanogenMod ROM you're rooted. have you tried wiping battery stats?
