emulator: ERROR: no search paths found in this AVD's configuration.
Weird, the AVD's config.ini file is malformed. Try re-creating it.

The emulator crashed, and, the disassembly editor (Visual Studio 2010) by default opened the low level code for libGLES_V2_translator.dll!...

Excerpt from Emulator log seems to indicate that the UI element could not be created by the underlying emulator library (x86).
    emulator: device fd:684
HAX is working and emulator runs in fast virt mode
    creating window 43 59 329 583
    eglMakeCurrent failed
    eglMakeCurrent failed
    ../../sdk/emulator/opengl//host/libs/Translator/GLES_V2//GLESv2Imp.cpp:glUseProgram:1988 error 0x501

The emulator is an emulator for x86 whilst my processor is 64-bit, is this a possible cause of technical crash?

    I was using a Nexus 4 (x86) AVD, do I need an x64 one?
