    PS
when i boot into hboot it searches for some files....looks like it finds four...
    bbelow each file it says
    loading file........
    No Image!
    loading file........
    No Image!
    loading file........
    No Image!

Its just searching to see if those files are on your SD card, don't need to worry about them

Nope, it's completely normal. Your recovery is screwed

your hboot is not damaged, s-off damaged recovery and you dont have the right drivers for it to access the device via fastboot

to use that tool you wait for those loading images to go and select fastboot
when in fastboot and connected to the pc; go to start>right click my computer>click manage> device manager. does it have any exclamation marks for drivers not installed?

if your hboot was damaged you would not be booting

Wow, this could take a while...

Have you read up on fastboot/adb commands at all? Might be worth while as they're handy to know. You need to make sure you have the drivers installed first before using fastboot commands

no it allows you to flash roms, wipe roms etc
you might need to RUU and start again as InfernalByte stated

ive not seen it in this state before, its wierd

Yeah I was thinking that too. Not sure if re-s-off would cause more damage.

Have you got a gold card? What rom were you on originally? Was it branded?

I only suggested it as its what I did in a simular situation and I'd reached the end of my knowledge on the matter. I'd hate to think that I sounded as if I knew what I was doin. :)
