Hi...new to forum. Name is Beth. I have Epic 4G since it came out. Love it but not battery life. Even with factory reset and no apps downloaded, battery bad. Need fix. Also, I am looking for best e-mail app available. The email that is on phone is giving me trouble. Message won't go out sometimes, even with reboot...hard to get to, even with refresh. Suggestions?? I have used K-9 before, didn't love.

For the email try clearing data from the email app. Menu>settings >applications>manage applications >all>gmail (if thats the one your using or???) > clear data. That has help a few people. As far as battery life, lots of things affect it, signal strength being one of them so if you live/work in a area where signal is suspect that could be a biggie. Also screen brightness, dont use live wallpapers, only have blue tooth, wifi, gps on if you are using them. Darker wallpapers. Those are some of the things that add up. Oh and also certain factory apps like mediahub, kill it if not in use. Hope this helps.
