Do you think Galaxy S 2 Sprint version will have a keyboard to be the Epic successor?

I also heard that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will not have a slide out keyboard. I don't think Sprint has any plans on making another smartphone with a slide out keyboard in the near future, so I will be getting an Epic here in a few days!

Speculation says no, but it's not 100% confirmed until Sprint and/or Samsung make the confirmation. That being said, I wish it has a keyboard, but I can live without it and will still get it either way.

if the rumor is true that it (the Within) to come out late july, then i doubt it. we would have seen a leaked pic or something by now. although, i hope to be wrong.

If you want a new smartphone with a keyboard the LG Optimus Slider was leaked off the Sprint Roadmap and it should be like the G2X with a Keyboard and is rumored to be released in September, so I would wait for that.

Google. Cases are being sold for Within, and Attain and Function use the same case. Same dims = no keyboard.

That's still the "only" thing leaked as proof of what the Sprint version will be. So far seeing the AT&T version in a dock is the only real proof I'll put stock in of an official US SG2. Not saying you're wrong, but a slider version of the g2x isn't really exciting me.

Well its probably going to be the best slider (if not the only) we get this year, so I was just putting it out there for people who are looking to upgrade to a more future-proof phone with a keyboard.

P.S. I love the Samsung Epic so I'm not trying to down it or anything, I was just saying if you need a new phone with a KB, the Optimus Slider is the way to go. I on the other hand will be getting the Within :)

Well the original poster didn't mention anything about a model called "Within". He said Samsung Galaxy S II.

He was trying to argue that there are images of the EPIC successor (the Within) that show it without a keyboard.

Take it with a grain of salt, because I don't know this guy from Adam, but have a look at what this guy has to say..
