I have the nexus five and i brought some sol republic earphone with it and i was wonderig if there was an app that gives me a powerful bass oost. I know these headphones are good with sound because i searcha couple of bass boosted songs on youtube and the bass sounds amazing. I want to be able to do that with all my apps like Slacker Radio. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Usually its the music app itself that has the equalizer settings. Google play music for example.

I know that Google play offers an equalizer but I pay for the radio service, Slacker and I tried to do some exploring my self and the ones that I came across weren't that good. So I created this forum to see if anyone knew of a good equalizer that doesn't distort the sound?

Viper4android will give you the biggest bass boost you can ever achieve. There's a catch though, you gotta be rooted to install the driver.

I heard about that Viper but I already went back to stock. OP, to be honest the Nexus 5 is not very good when it comes to music and headphones. That's why I still use my One X for music.

True this. Although most of the time I listen to podcasts on my phone, and for that I can't complain about the N5
