Just out of boredom at work, a coworker and I did a head to head browser test, and the Eris SMOKED the storm 2. We were both surprised how much faster it rendered pages. They both have a 528 mhz processor. Supposedly the storm will be getting a webkit browser next year. Just thought I would share.

Tell your coworker to download Opera Mini for his or her Storm.
It's so much faster than BlackBerry's default browser.

Opera mini is MUCH better...but still blows snakes. Just a small coral one instead of a honkin anaconda. :p

I want to test the browser on my newly bought Eris against Opera Mini on my cousin's BB.

Right now the phone is doing it's first charge.

    Well Said!:D

That has always been one of their biggest downfalls.

on the Eris did you use the stock browser or Dolphin? If you used the stock one it would have been even faster with Dolphin.

Good to know, I haven't tried the dolphin browser yet. You notice big difference?
