hello every one. i am new to rooting, i have an i9000 by samsung. i have spent the last 3 hours on line trying to root my phone. i have downloaded the "one click root" download for the galaxy phones by samsung, several times and keep running in to error status 7. i searched error status 7 and found a sit ethat said i needed to reformatt my sd carsd from fat to fat32. i donot know how to reformat my internal sd card to fat32. also i believe for the root to work it needs to load on to my internal sd card. can any one please help me? why wont it work on my phone. i have even tried downloading programs to manually root but those are not working either. what am i doing wrong?

update: i have now spent 5 hours trying to gt this to root.

i just keep getting error status 7. please tell me what to do.
