Same here, I look at my trusty Droid now and wonder how I did it. But you make do with what you got I guess. From now on though, it's at least 4.3" or nothing.

I really love the extra screen real estate of the Droid X. It kind of reminds me of my 17" laptop. I can't imagine trying to work on a 13.3" screen.

It is definitely hard to go back to a smaller screen after having the X, but I am afraid in another year or two there will no longer be any 4 inch screens, probably just worrying myself. At our team meeting the other day, I was playing with a G1 and the iphone 4 and holy crap they feel tiny.

I do believe that there will still be a market for 3.5" and 3.7" screens. I know that not everyone wants a screen so big. A lot of people are perfectly happy with smaller screens as it's a bit more pocketable.

Side note: Why 3.7" and not 3.8"?

Sounds like something Steve Jobs would say.

I came from a Droid Eris, and I can't help but laugh at how small it looks in comparison.

I fell in love with the screen right away. The iPhone screen is sharper but I think the size of the X's screen trumps it.

lol Ninja I know how you feel about the Net. I'm currently stuck on low speed internet from Cox Communications. All I get is a lousy 200KB/s DL, and about 35KB/s upload. Sure, it's cheap, but I really miss my 9MB/s DL. :(

My 3G connection tends to actually be faster than my home connection. o_O Trippy.

I'm technically on 20MB/s, but on torrents I pull around 1.25MB/s consistently. It's a far cry from my original internet, which was ~100KB/s.

I have big thumbs, so my thumbs on the Droid X actually look like their fine. When I moved them back to the Incredible, I couldn't help but think "I'm so fat. :'("... when I'm really not. lol

I had the Droid Incredible for about 2 months before the Droid X came out. Once I switched for about 2-3 days, that Incredible felt amazingly small in comparison. I'll never be able to use a smaller screened phone ever again.

I think anything over 854 x 480 is overkill and not worth the add'l resources. I can't imagine anyone really needing it. I guess it just becomes marketing fodder at some point.

The older you get the smaller your phone feels.
